Arai Concept-X
The Arai Concept-X is a really cool looking ‘old school’ motorcycle helmet, but with a modern twist. Arai is famous for its strong outer shell, and the Concept-X is no exception. Arai uses the extremely hard PB e-cLc outer shell, which allows them to soften the multi-density EPS inner shell – offering better and more ‘comfortable’ impact protection. Arai’s internal ventilation system provides the rider with optimal airflow thanks to the brow vents, chin vents, and the exhaust vents at the rear of the helmet. The Max Vision visor is equipped with a Pinlock anti-fog lens, so you don’t need to worry about condensation.

About the Arai Concept-X
The interior of the Arai Concept-X has received an antibacterial treatment, and it’s even removable and washable. The cheek pads have been fitted with the ‘Emergency Release System’. This system allows paramedics to easily remove the cheek pads in the event of an emergency. The Concept-X has a double-D chin strap system, which is the safest retention system available. The flat D-shaped rings provide you with a secure and pleasant fit. No moving parts, no corrosion, and simply pulling the tab is enough to remove the chin strap. The helmet is prepared for a communication system, and there is enough space to install the speakers within the cheek pads.
Something that makes Arai very special is the fact that every motorcycle helmet must go through 5 different quality control tests to actually end up on the shelf. The reason they do this, is to uphold the level of safety and quality that Arai promises. All Arai helmets are penetration tested, although this is not required by the European helmet laws. The Arai penetration test is carried out with a 3 kg metal spike, dropped from a height of 3 metres onto the helmet shell.
