Pinlock Visors
With a Pinlock visor, a fogged visor is a thing of the past once and for all. This is a flexible visor that can be placed on the inside of the helmet visor. In this way, you create a kind of double-glazed idea, so that the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the visor is no longer so great. View our pinlocks now.

About the Pinlock system
Englishman Derek Arnold came up with the Pinlock system after experiencing a fogged-up visor during a race at the TT Circuit in Assen, more than twenty years ago. At the time, racers used to stick loose sheets on the outside of their visors to keep it clear, but this was far from ideal.
Arnold developed a similar solution for the inside of the visor: a lens that is attached with two pins and creates a thin air layer to prevent condensation. This idea evolved into the Pinlock system, which is now the standard for almost every helmet brand.
Frequently asked questions about pinlock visors
A Pinlock is an additional lens made of clear, organic material that is attached to the inside of your helmet visor with two pins. Thanks to the silicone edge, the lens seals airtight and thus prevents your visor from fogging up.
A thin air layer forms between the Pinlock lens and the visor, similar to double glazing. This air chamber prevents the temperature difference between the inside and outside from becoming too large, preventing the visor from fogging up.
The purpose of a Pinlock visor is to prevent condensation. This keeps your view clear during cold, rainy, or humid conditions, allowing you to keep the visor closed without it fogging up.
A Pinlock visor lasts an average of about 2 years, with intensive use the lifespan may be shorter.
There are, among others, clear, dark smoke, and yellow pinlock visors. View the differences directly:
