To secure your helmet to your scooter, you can use a chain lock or helmet bag with a combination lock. This is especially handy if your helmet doesn't fit in your buddy seat or if you want to store a passenger's helmet. You can also mount a top case behind the seat on your scooter. It may not be the most attractive method, but it works.

Conversely, a too large helmet can be very dangerous in an accident or collision because your head has room to move inside the helmet, causing the impact to be more severe.
