Choosing the right motorcycle headset

To determine which headset you need, you must first decide whether you want to use the system solo, if you want to communicate with someone on the back (Bike 2 Passenger), or with another (or more) motorcyclist(s) (Bike 2 Bike or Bike 2 Group). After this, you will look at the other features and select which ones are relevant for you.

Difference between brand-specific and universal headsets

Brand/model-specific motorcycle headsets are intended for a particular model (or several models) of a brand. For example, check out our range of helmets suitable for Bluetooth. Universal motorcycle intercom systems can be built into almost any helmet. It is important that the helmet has a removable inner lining, so you can tuck the speaker and wires behind it. Also, make sure that the set you purchase has the right microphone. For an open face or modular helmet, use a boom mic and for a full face helmet use a wired mic.

Motorcycle headsets work via a wireless Bluetooth connection with your phone, navigation system, or intercom. An intercom over a larger distance operates via a radio connection.
