Why are winter motorcycle gloves important?

For all motorcyclists who ride in the winter, warm hands are of great importance. Not only for your comfort but also for your reaction time. With your hands, you need to do quite a lot while riding. If your hands get icy cold, you won't be able to react adequately when needed.

How do gloves for motorcycles and scooters differ?

Winter gloves for motorcycles always have one or more layers of thermal lining. This not only feels comfortable but also insulates well. This way, cold air is kept out, and warm air stays inside the glove. Winter gloves in higher price ranges, such as those from Rukka and Rev'it, often have a laminated membrane (direct laminate). This allows all water to roll off the outer fabric of the glove, keeping your hands dry at all times.
