Take a look down below to see which visors fit which helmets. It’s important to know that most mirror and tinted visors are not officially certified for use on the public roads and/or at night.

Arai visor type VAS-V

The new VAS-V visor shifts while opening, this lowers the turning point by 24mm which results in a smoother and stronger side. The VAS-V visor is available in a Max Vision variant (prepared for the extra wide Pinlock insert) and for a regular Pinlock. The visor is compatible with the following helmets:

RX-7V (RC) (not RX-7 GP!)
Chaser-X (not Chaser or Chaser-V)

Arai visor type SAI

Arai type SAI visors have a wider ‘wide-vision’ viewing angle and are compatible with the following models:

RX-7 GP (niet RX-7V (RC))
Quantum
Rebel
Chaser-V (not Chaser or Chaser-X)
Axcess II (not Axcess)

Arai visor type Pro-Shade VAS-V

The Pro-Shade system by Arai is a clear ‘wide vision’ visor, provided with a flip-up sun visor on the outside. The Pro-Shade system comes with a clear Pinlock insert and is compatible with the following helmets:

RX-7V (RC) (not RX-7 GP)
Chaser-X (not Chaser or Chaser-V)
