Why the Shoei J-Cruise 2?

The outer shell of this new J-Cruise 2 is made from Shoei's patented AIM multi-fiber material. This material consists of fiberglass and organic fibers and is extremely strong, yet the outer shell remains compact. The outer shell comes in 3 different sizes, ensuring you always wear the smallest possible helmet – which benefits the weight and comfort.

The Shoei J-Cruise 2 has a large thermoplastic visor, resulting in much more shape than a regular visor. At the bottom, there is a smartly curved 'double' edge, which directs the wind along the sides of the visor – preventing the wind from rolling behind it. Many motorcyclists choose to ride year-round with the J-Cruise 2.

Although the visor has not changed, the mechanism of the helmet has been updated. It is now possible to set the visor to a small ventilation position, a feature missing in the previous model.

At the back of the helmet, there is now a larger spoiler that improves the aerodynamics, seemingly inspired by the successful Neotec II system helmet. Also, the helmet has adopted the characteristic Shoei 'ducktail' diffuser. The ventilation of the J-Cruise 2 has significantly improved. Previously, there was only one air intake at the top of the helmet, now there are three. This allows much more air to enter the helmet when the vents are open, even up to 30% more compared to the previous model, making the J-Cruise 2 very suitable for warm weather conditions.

Like the Neotec II and the GT-Air II, the J-Cruise 2 is specifically prepared for the SRL1 & SRL2 communication systems from Sena. Both systems fit seamlessly into this helmet, ensuring the design and aerodynamics of the helmet are uninterrupted. The sun visor is 5mm longer than that of the predecessor of the new top model, providing the same viewing quality as sunglasses.

Of course, the Shoei J-Cruise 2 can be custom fitted with the patented 'Shoei Personal Fitting' system. This helmet is not available yet; we expect it at the beginning of 2020.
