Product description
The BoXXer R09 is the fiberglass version of the BoXXer Carbon. This system helmet has an outer shell made of fiberglass, and weighs approximately 1600 grams. This helmet includes several improvements and changes compared to the Boxer V8.
The completely foldable chin piece is still present and has also been improved compared to the Boxer V8. It features a new locking system that closes automatically. The BoXXer boasts dual homologation (P/J). This means that the helmet is approved as both a jet helmet and a full-face helmet.
Additionally, the inner lining is still removable and washable and has become quieter thanks to the same technology used in the third generation Desmo helmets. Eyeglass wearers need not worry as ROOF has created special recesses for this purpose.
In terms of ventilation, the ROOF BoXXer still performs excellently. Besides the fact that the chin guard can be completely folded back, there are also air intakes on the chin guard as well as on the top. A true touring helmet is always equipped with recesses for the installation of a communication system, which is no problem in the ROOF.
