The inner lining is not only anti-bacterial, but also fully removable and washable. With the Emergency Release System, the cheek pads are easily removed by paramedics in an unlikely case of an accident. The Concept-X is equipped with the double-D chin strap; the safest closing system on the market! The flat D-shaped rings fit comfortable against the chin. Without any moving parts or corrosion issues, pulling the tab is all you need to do is release the strap. The helmet is also fitted with Speaker pockets which are specially designed to accommodate speakers without creating uncomfortable pressure points.

All Arai helmets are penetration tested although not required by European helmet standards. The Arai penetration test is conducted with a 3kg test cone that strikes from a height of 3m on the helmet.
