Sizing, good fit, and soft inner lining

For the Beon Design, we can say that the helmet runs smaller than the average helmet. We recommend ordering one size larger than you would normally do. The fit of this scooter helmet can be described as “oval-round”; the most common head shape within the Netherlands. To further complement the fit, the Beon Design has a nice, soft inner lining in a black color. The inner lining is easy to clean with a damp cloth.

What is the difference between a Luxury and a standard Design helmet?

The name of the helmet actually says it all, the Luxury variant has a velvety soft, light brown inner lining (or possibly black in some versions). The standard Beon Design version has a soft, black lining.

Does the Beon Design fit in my buddy seat?

A major advantage of this helmet is that it has a relatively small helmet shell, making it easy to fit under the seat of most scooters. This space is also referred to as a “buddy seat”.

National helmet requirement from January 1, 2023

According to the Dutch government, annually, many scooter riders become victims in traffic. Therefore, in the Netherlands, it is mandatory to wear an approved helmet on the moped and scooter. The Beon Design naturally meets the ECE approval requirement and is therefore deemed safe for use on these vehicles. The helmet is even approved for possible use on motorcycles. However, given the higher speeds involved, we always recommend a motorcycle helmet on a motorcycle.
