Size, good fit, and soft inner lining

We can say about the Beon Design that the helmet runs smaller than the average helmet. We recommend ordering one size larger than you would normally do. The fit of this scooter helmet can be described as “oval-round”; the most common head shape in the Netherlands. To further complement the fit, the Beon Design has a fine, soft inner lining in black color. The inner lining is easy to clean with a damp cloth.

What is the difference between a Luxury and a normal Design helmet?

The name of the helmet says it all, the Luxury version has a velvety soft, light brown inner lining (or possibly black in some versions). The standard Beon Design version has a soft, black lining.

Does the Beon Design fit in my buddy seat?

A major advantage of this helmet is that it has a relatively small helmet shell, allowing the helmet to easily fit under the seat of the scooter in most cases. This space is also known as a “buddy seat”.

Nationwide helmet requirement starting January 1, 2023

According to the Dutch government, there are annually many victims among scooter riders in traffic. Therefore, it is mandatory in the Netherlands to wear an approved helmet on mopeds and scooters. The Beon Design naturally meets the ECE approval requirement and is therefore deemed safe for use on these vehicles. The helmet is even approved for possible use on motorcycles. However, given the much higher speed, we always recommend a motorcycle helmet for use on motorcycles.
