The Dainese Smart Jacket LS is a ventilated airbag jacket with a minimalistic design. After the introduction of the widely successful smart airbag vest, Dainese now releases a long-sleeve version suitable for every rider. Unlike the design, the level of protection of this jacket is far from minimalistic.
The Dainese Smart Jacket LS is made from breathable, wear-resistant fabric and contains the latest generation Dainese D-air® technology, the airbag used by MotoGP™ champions developed over 25 years of research on the road and circuit. This airbag covers the back and chest, providing the level of protection equivalent to seven level 1 back protectors. The Smart Jacket LS boasts ease of use as it can be used without any cable connection to the motorcycle. The airbag system activates in the event of a slide, impact, or rear-end collision, even when stationary.
In addition, the elbows and shoulders are protected with Pro-Armor Level 2 protectors, which are known to be soft and breathable protectors thanks to the 40% ventilated surface. The reflective inserts enhance visibility and safety. When the airbag is not needed, it can be detached and the jacket can be worn as a regular motorcycle jacket.
