The appearance of a pilot helmet, the safety of a motorcycle helmet

The GPA Aircraft (also known as “OSBE Aircraft”) helmet has an incredibly tough and robust appearance that is clearly inspired by the pilot helmet. Not only is the helmet unique because of its appearance, the double visors are also rarely seen in this way on jet helmets. The helmet features two sliders on top that allow you to operate the clear and dark outer visor, ideal for when you use the helmet in light and dark, and through wind and wind.

A motorcycle helmet that doesn't look out of place on a scooter or moped

This GPA Aircraft helmet is designed for use on the motorcycle, which can be seen, for example, in the outer shell that extends a bit further, the sturdy visors (clear and dark), and the option to attach a mouthpiece (available separately). The fact that the helmet is intended for use on the motorcycle doesn't mean it's not suitable for use on a moped or light moped; quite the opposite.

Does the GPA Aircraft fit in my buddy seat?

The GPA Aircraft is a motorcycle helmet and therefore has a larger helmet shell than the average scooter helmet. As a result, the helmet may not easily fit under the seat of the scooter. This storage space is also referred to as a “buddy seat”.

National helmet requirement from January 1, 2023

According to the Dutch government, there are still many victims among scooter riders in traffic each year. For this reason, it is mandatory in the Netherlands to wear an approved helmet on the moped and light moped. The OSBE Aircraft naturally meets the ECE approval requirement and is therefore deemed safe for use on these vehicles. The helmet is even approved for potential use on a motorcycle. However, since the speed is significantly higher in this case, we always recommend a motorcycle helmet on a motorcycle.

2-year warranty

Of course, you can expect from GPA that the helmets are of excellent quality. To further guarantee this, helmets from the brand GPA come with a 2-year factory warranty. So if a problem with your helmet arises with normal use, please contact our customer service.
