Boxer Helmets

The Roof Boxer V8 is the most well-known boxer helmet. This helmet has now been developed into the Boxxer R09 2 (also available in a carbon version) and the Roof Boxer Alpha.

The Roof Boxer Alpha RO5 is the latest boxer helmet that was launched in September 2025. This model is known as the 2025 version and is the successor to the V8, which proved to be extremely popular in recent years.

The BoXXer R09, in addition to the features of the original Boxer V8, has an automatically closing chin piece and a quieter, removable, and washable inner lining. Ventilation is excellent with air inlets on the chin bar and top, and special recesses are provided for glasses wearers. The outer shell weighs approximately 1600 grams. Integration of a communication system is also effortlessly possible.

The Roof Boxer was the first "boxer" helmet, introduced by the French brand Roof. This helmet was launched in the early 1990s and was revolutionary due to its unique modular design, allowing the chin protection to be flipped up 180 degrees. As a result, the helmet could easily be transformed from a full-face helmet to an open helmet (jet helmet). This innovative design set a new standard for modular motorcycle helmets and made Roof globally known among motorcyclists.

The red ears on a Roof Boxer helmet give the helmet a unique look. While it is mainly an aesthetic detail, it also has a functional origin. The ears, often executed in contrasting red color, accentuate the side of the helmet at the hinge point of the visor and the chin protection. As a result, the helmet not only looks tough and futuristic but also makes it clearer where the chin protection is hinged.
