The MT Jet Thunder 3 SV jet helmet has a relatively large helmet shell, which means that in many cases the helmet does not easily fit under the seat of the scooter, with some exceptions. This storage space is also known as a "buddy seat".

Nationwide helmet requirement from January 1, 2023

According to the Dutch government, many scooter riders are victims in traffic annually. Therefore, in the Netherlands, it is mandatory to wear an approved helmet on mopeds and scooters. This MT jet helmet, of course, meets the ECE approval requirement and has therefore been considered safe for use on these vehicles. The helmet is even approved for potential use on motorcycles. However, given that the speed is much higher, we always recommend a motorcycle helmet for a motorcycle.
