Muc-Off Rain Shield Re-proofer

Use the new Muc-Off Rain Shield Re-proofer spray when riding in the rain. This spray creates an advanced water repellent layer on various types of clothing and restores factory levels of waterproofing and breathability. The latest technology reduces the surface tension of the fabric, provides the best waterproofness and protects against mud and stains. This water-based, PFC-free formula is safe for the environment and causes water to bead and roll off within 24 hours of treatment.

The Rain Shield Re-proofer extends the life and performance of garments without affecting breathability. It is easy to apply with the spray bottle and can be used on all technical or waterproof/water-repellent fabrics such as Goretex®, Polartec®, Pertex®, eVent®, softshell and hardshell clothing, and down clothing.

Instructions for use:
1. Shake the bottle well before use.
2. Spray onto a clean, damp garment from a distance of 10-15 cm until the garment is completely treated. (Prior to application, clean the garment with a technical wash according to the washing instructions on the label.)
3. Remove excess spray with a clean cloth.
4. Hang the garment and let it dry overnight before wearing it again in wet conditions.

Frequently asked questions:
- A 250 ml bottle treats approximately 2 items of clothing (XL jackets).
- The protective layer gradually wears off with normal use and washing. Replace the coating every 3 months, depending on wear and washing.
- Using household detergent can damage the water-repellent layer. When water no longer beads on your garment, it is time for a new treatment with Rain Shield Re-proofer.
- The spray provides water resistance to the fabric, but does not make non-waterproof fabrics completely waterproof.
