The wide range of Sena is also equipped with a communication set, including an FM tuner: the SMH5-FM. As the addition of FM already suggests, a strong FM radio receiver is built into the SMH5.
The Sena SMH5-FM is the most complete entry-level model for scooter and motorcyclists in the field of Bluetooth communication systems. This set features impressive specifications that are intuitively controlled by the ‘Jog Dial’, simply by turning and clicking. The device can be paired with a phone, navigation system, and MP3 players. Additionally, it is possible to use the intercom function between rider and passenger, or between riders (maximum of 3).
FM Radio
Thanks to the powerful built-in FM receiver, you can always listen to your favorite music without draining the battery of your phone or MP3 player! The SMH5-FM offers the ability to preset 10 radio stations of your choice.
The Bluetooth V3.0 and AVRCP/A2DP protocol and the ‘wind noise’ elimination ensure a flawless wireless connection with excellent sound quality. The sound volume of each connected device can even be set individually.
The battery status of the unit is communicated via the speakers upon request. The built-in lithium-polymer battery guarantees up to 10 hours of talk time (or 7 days standby). An optional cable allows charging while riding.
The SMH5-FM comes with a ‘Boom type’ microphone. An optional built-in microphone is also available, making the SMH5-FM suitable for any type of helmet. Sena products enjoy a 2-year warranty and are ‘firmware upgradable’
