The TCX Explorer.4 Gore-Tex® boot is a genuine touring boot made from microfiber and abrasion-resistant textile. A beautiful flexible and waterproof composition in combination with the Gore-Tex® membrane makes the TCX Explorer.4 Gore-Tex® boot completely waterproof and breathable. Perfect for long rides. With the TCX Explorer.4 Gore-Tex® boot you can truly handle any situation. The foot is equipped with an extremely comfortable Ortholite replaceable footbed. This also contributes to riding pleasure.
The special microporous structure of the GORE-TEX® fabric contains approximately 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are about 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. So while water cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX® membrane in liquid form, sweat (water vapor) can easily evaporate. The result is a fully waterproof barrier.
