The ear pads of this helmet are removable and washable, allowing you to keep the helmet nice and fresh. The full designation for the certification is ECE R22-05 and is developed by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. This ECE standard tests the extent to which a helmet is shock-absorbent and thus how well your head is protected in a fall.
