The Vintage by VITO is a retro full-face helmet with a number of really cool features. For instance, it is prepared for a Pinlock anti-fog visor (sold separately), which is quite unique for a classic helmet. The helmet has a fiberglass outer shell and a very comfortable fit. Additionally, the cheek pads are removable and washable, so you can keep your helmet clean and fresh at all times.
Does the VITO Vintage full-face helmet fit in my storage compartment?
For a full-face helmet, this VITO helmet has a relatively small helmet shell, which means that in some cases it can be stored under the seat of larger scooters, or for example, an MP3. This space is also known as a “storage compartment”.
National helmet mandate from January 1, 2023
According to the Dutch government, there are annually many casualties among scooter riders in traffic. Therefore, it is compulsory in the Netherlands to wear an approved helmet on mopeds and scooters. This VITO retro helmet naturally meets the ECE certification requirement and is therefore deemed safe for use on these vehicles. The helmet is even approved for possible use on a motorcycle. However, given the higher speed, we always recommend a motorcycle helmet for riding a motorcycle.
2-year warranty
Of course, you can expect VITO helmets to be of high quality. To further ensure this, helmets from the VITO brand come with a 2-year factory warranty. Should a problem arise with normal use, please contact our customer service.
