The Alpinestars Supertech R10 Carbon is the result of more than 10 years of intensive research, development and testing. This motorcycle helmet has been designed with the aim of offering the ultimate combination of protection, comfort and performance. In collaboration with MotoGP legends Andrea Dovizioso, Jorge Martin and Jack Miller, Alpinestars has developed a helmet that meets the highest standards of safety and innovation.
The helmet is made with a carbon shell construction that uses multi-layer composite technology. The outer layer, consisting of 3K high-density carbon, aramid fibre and fibreglass, ensures maximum strength and energy dispersion in the event of an impact. Homologated according to the most stringent standards such as ECE 22.06, DOT and FIM, the helmet offers protection that goes well beyond the standards, with 37% better linear impact performance and 65% better oblique impact protection.
The interior of the Supertech R10 is just as advanced as its outer shell. With an eight-piece multi-density EPS liner and four anatomical sizes, the helmet offers a close fit and excellent energy absorption. The internal structure is designed to effectively manage oblique, rotational and linear forces, while the patented A-Head Fitting System allows riders to adjust the height and angle of the helmet for optimum comfort and safety.
In terms of aerodynamics, the Supertech R10 is unrivaled. Developed with CFD simulations and extensively tested in the wind tunnel, the helmet offers low drag and maximum stability at high speeds. The included aerodynamic spoilers and lateral winglets further improve stability, while the helmet generates minimal neck strain and minimizes wind noise.
The helmet's ventilation is provided by eleven strategically placed vents, including three in the chin guard and four on the top of the helmet. These ensure active air circulation, efficiently dissipating moisture and heat. The chin vent also prevents the visor from fogging, which is crucial for clear vision in all conditions.
The helmet comes with an optical class 1 visor, which has been treated to be scratch and fog resistant. With a wide eye port of 220 degrees of lateral vision, the visor offers an unparalleled field of vision. The tool-free quick-release system makes replacing the visor easy, and a PINLOCK 120XLT insert is supported for maximum anti-fog performance.
The Alpinestars Supertech R10 comes with two visors (clear and dark) and an emergency extraction system in the cheek pads. Weighing in at just 1,540 grams, this helmet combines superior protection, innovative technology and lightweight performance in one impressive package.
