The Alpinestars Supertech R10 Element / Team Black Carbon is the result of over 10 years of intensive research, development, and testing. It stands as a benchmark for safety and innovation in motorcycle helmets.
Crafted with a carbon shell construction utilizing multi-layer composite technology, the Supertech R10 features a 3K high-density carbon outer layer combined with aramid and fiberglass for maximum strength and energy dispersion upon impact. Certified to ECE 22.06, DOT, and FIM standards, this helmet delivers impact protection exceeding regulations, with 37% better linear impact performance and 65% improved oblique impact protection.
The interior of the Supertech R10 matches the sophistication of its outer shell. An eight-piece multi-density EPS liner and four anatomical shell sizes ensure a precise fit and exceptional energy absorption. Designed to manage rotational, oblique, and linear forces effectively, the helmet incorporates the patented A-Head Fittings system, allowing riders to adjust the helmet's height and angle for personalized comfort and safety.
Aerodynamics are a key feature of the Supertech R10. Developed with CFD simulations and validated in wind tunnel testing, the helmet offers low drag and maximum stability at high speeds. The included aerodynamic spoilers and lateral winglets further enhance stability while reducing neck strain and minimizing wind noise.
The helmet’s ventilation system includes eleven strategically placed vents, with three in the chin bar and four on the top. These provide active airflow, effectively dissipating heat and moisture. The chin vent also prevents visor fogging, ensuring clear visibility in all conditions.
The Supertech R10 is equipped with an optical class 1 visor treated with scratch- and fog-resistant coatings. Offering a wide 220-degree lateral field of vision, the visor provides unparalleled clarity. A tool-free quick-release system makes visor replacement effortless, and the helmet supports a PINLOCK 120XLT insert for maximum anti-fog performance.
Included with the Alpinestars Supertech R10 are two visors (clear and dark), two sets of winglets (Road and Race), a helmet bag, and emergency extraction-ready cheek pads.
