This year, completely new, is the Nolan N100.5. It is the flagship of Nolan's collection of modular helmets and is the successor to the N104. Let us guide you through the specifications of this completely redesigned modular helmet:
The Nolan N100.5 is the seventh generation modular helmet and is thus the successor of the incredibly popular Nolan N104. The outer shell is made of Lexan, which is a special type of polycarbonate that is stronger than regular polycarbonate helmets. The visor on the N100.5 has now become even larger and wider, giving you almost the field of view of a jet helmet.
The ingenious hinge system of the chin piece tilts at two points, allowing it to stand very close above the helmet when open. This greatly enhances aerodynamics and thus comfort during riding.
Additionally, the helmet fits better and you can adjust the neck roll for a snug fit.
The Nolan N100.5 has a dual homologation (P/J certification). This means that this helmet is approved as both a jet helmet and a full-face helmet. You can safely ride with the chin piece open. And this helmet is perfectly suited for that. The chin piece features the safer 'Dual Action' opening mechanism. To open the chin piece, you need both your thumb and index finger. You can still open the helmet with one hand, but thanks to this extra security, the chin piece is much less likely to pop open during a fall.

N100.5 Visor
- Larger visor that offers a wider field of view
- Sun visor adjustable in 4 positions, UV400 sun protection, activation system can be quickly retracted using a spring button.
- With Pinlock, buttons can be adjusted from the outside to tighten or loosen Pinlock. (note: with the "special: no pinlock is supplied as standard)
Nolan N100-5 Inner Lining
- Inner lining is removable, washable, and adjustable.
- Neck roll can be closed using an adjustable elastic band. This ensures that the helmet always fits perfectly at your neck. This will make the helmet quieter and you will also experience less wind inside the helmet.
- New ventilation with Airbooster. Ventilation inlet on chin and forehead. The outlet of the ventilation is located in the area at the back of the helmet where a vacuum is created by riding. This causes the air to be sucked out of the helmet at the back, allowing a lot of fresh air into the helmet.
- Clima comfort inner lining, perforated lining on the top, type of mesh that allows air to cool the head much better.
- Updated cheek pads for a better fit. Removable and washable and provide space for a communication system.
Nolan N1005 Chin Guard and Safety
- Outer shell is made of polycarbonate (Lexan)
- The chin guard has a double hinge, so it sits closer to the helmet in the open position. This makes the helmet more compact and you have less trouble with the weight of the chin guard when the helmet is open.
