In fact, relatively little attention was paid to marketing and bringing this helmet to attention during its introduction. Nevertheless, sales figures were immediately very strong. When a product actually performs well right away without much promotion, we know we have something good on our hands.

Yes, and what is so good about it? You choose the Shoei J-Cruise if you want the convenience and field of vision of a jet helmet, but don't want to compromise too much on safety and the advantages of a full-face helmet. The long outer shell and the 3D 'Wrap around the head' inner lining immediately give you the idea that your head is really maximally enclosed by the helmet.

The visor also contributes to the secure feeling. Because it is molded thermoplastic, it has much more shape than a regular visor. The curved edge at the bottom is smart. As a result, airstream is directed along the sides of the helmet, and does not roll behind the visor. Many motorcyclists therefore ride year-round with the J-Cruise.

Lastly, some attention to the sun visor. With many helmets, you see that the inner or outer shell has been sacrificed to hide the sun visor. This does not fit Shoei's safety philosophy. That is why you see a thickening on the front (made of special fiber material) where the sun visor slides in. And no, this does not look odd, but actually gives the helmet a sportier look. By the way, the sun visor is made in such a way that it has the same visual quality as sunglasses.
