A newcomer in the Shoei family is the Shoei RYD, which can be considered as the entry model of the world-famous Japanese motorcycle helmet brand. As we are used to from Shoei, the RYD is a full-face helmet made from a five-layer construction with organic and glass fibers that provide excellent shock absorption. The advantage of these fibers is not only the strong shell that is created but also the lightweight.
The Shoei RYD has four different shell sizes, ensuring you always ride with the smallest possible helmet shell, which is quite pleasant. Space has been left on the sides for a communication system, and the inner lining is fully removable and washable. A standard anti-fog Pinlock is included with the clear visor to prevent fogging. Thanks to the double D-ring closure, you can take to the track just like with the Shoei NXR, and the integrated spoiler ensures that you have a stable helmet even at higher speeds.
