Optimate battery chargers are produced by Tecmate, a company founded on September 1, 1994, in Belgium. The company was established with the intention of developing and producing professional instruments for, among other things, battery charging and testing. The knowledge and experience that Tecmate has developed over the years led in 1995 to the “Optimate Battery Saving Charging Method” with the aim of rescuing AGM, GEL, and STD lead-acid batteries that barely work due to severe neglect. Nowadays, Optimate also charges, tests, and maintains Lithium motorcycle batteries and offers a range of unique electronic precision instruments for the racing industry.
