An airbag motorcycle vest: mandatory or not?

Since 2018, an airbag motorcycle vest has been mandatory for all MotoGP riders: the increased safety has now been proven twice over. It is expected that they will also eventually become mandatory on public roads. An airbag motorcycle vest is perhaps the most important invention in terms of protection for motorcyclists since the motorcycle helmet. The difference with standard protection

The effectiveness of a motorcycle airbag vest is much higher than the standard level 1 or 2 protection pieces that are incorporated into motorcycle clothing. In terms of protection, airbag vests generally offer coverage of the back, chest and neck. Most airbags for motorcyclists work with an electronic brain that constantly monitors the position and movements of the rider with sensors. When the brain detects an accident, the airbag is immediately inflated to protect the rider before he or she hits the ground.

Can I still use an airbag after it has been triggered?
